Barnes & Noble is proud to provide the parents of our community a B&N Summer Reading Program, "Imagination's Destination", for students in grades first through sixth, beginning May 21st through September 3rd.

CT Walker Students Place "Best in Show"

Gracie Smith and Sophia Scantlin were named "Best In Show" for the Richmond County "All County Art Show" at the Morris Museum.  The work of these students will be framed and place in a permanent exhibit at the Richmond County Board of Education.  Congratulations to these talented students and also to their teacher, Ms. Nicola Brown.

Honor's Day celebrations will take place on the following dates.  Your child's teacher will be sending home information for exact times, but save the date!



May 17- K and 5
May 21 - 1st (9:00) and 2nd (10:00)

The Savannah Riverkeepers Visited Our Kindergarten!!!

The Riverkeepers shared bones, snakes, fish and we even made fish prints!  We learned many things about the ecology of the Savannah River.



CT Walker raised  $1152.00 for "Pennies for Patients"!

A great big thank you to ALL families who donated to the "Pennies for Patients" drive, raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society."  The lead fundraising classes were:  Ms. Russo, Ms. Gunby and Ms. McClattie.  WAY TO GO!

The Magnet Schools of America Foundation is pleased to announce that C.T. Walker Magnet School has been named a National Magnet School of Excellence.
