RCSS shows increase in Academic Growth and Achievement

Thirty-seven (37) elementary, middle and high schools in the Richmond County School System (RCSS) demonstrated overall growth of 10.7 percentage points according to the recently released College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) scores this year.

Application for the 2015-2016 School Year

If you are interested in applying for a spot in any of the RCBOE magnet programs, you may print an application HERE.  Please note that applications will no longer be accepted at the schools, but instead must be delivered or mailed to the RCBOE by January 28 at 4pm.  (Please wait until you have a report card from the January 12th distribution.)

Drama Auditions

Attention Parents of current/future Thespians/Drama Queens/Movie Stars/Starving Actors!

The Drama Club will be holding auditions for grades 2-5 this Thursday, December 18 from 3:30-5:00pm. No preparation is necessary. Auditions will be held in the drama room. PLEASE be on time to pick up your child at 5:00pm. Feel free to email Mrs. Cheshire will any questions.

Please make sure your child brings a note from you giving them permission to stay for the audition or they can't.

CT Walker Students Learn About Opera

Students from C. T. Walker attended the Live in HD Metropolitan Opera’s The Barber of Seville and the Live In HD Metropolitan Opera's Macbeth at the Regal Cinema.  The trips to learn about the opera were sponsored by the James M. Hull Rotary Educational Fund, Inc.

Schooldigger.com has published rankings of all Georgia schools. CT Walker was ranked in the top 1% of all elementary schools in the state of Georgia and the top 2% of all middle schools. We are the highest ranked elementary school in the entire CSRA! Way to go Wildcats!
